Framing Gallery

New City Gallery, a Central London framing gallery which has served the Bankside, London Bridge and Bermondsey areas for more than twenty five years. Our team of artisans all have many years experience. We are proud of the fact that 'old methods' are use in conjunction with 'new products' which are designed to protect your works of art from long term damage.

Wherever you decide to hang your picture we can advise you on the best method of framing - reflection control, damage from UV rays etc. to museum quality.

The more difficult the object to frame the more we like it; cricket bats, team shirts, old notes, coins, medals - we have done them all.

'Flair' is the name of the game at New City Gallery and 20 years at our two sites speaks for itself. We have advised on art work; theme, colour, hanging etc. for hotel chains, restaurants, many offices and framed them all in our workshop.

'It's My Picture And I'll Cry If I Want To!'

At New City Gallery we are used to the odd trembling lip as customers pick up their framing. Invariably they hadn't known what they wanted when they first came in but had been open to suggestions on choice of mount colour, frame etc. but as usually happens couldn't quite invisage the final impact.

But that impact and flair hits them like a bolt of lightning when they come to collect their work and that's when the trembling lip can begin. We welcome it and console them that we will always look after any of their future work in just the same way.

If I ever witness tears of another kind or even the slightest disappointment over a frame with my sticker on the back, I will change it and change it again as many times as it takes for that customer to become a New City Gallery fan.
